Job Description:
As an Elevator Service Dispatcher, you will be responsible for efficiently coordinating and dispatching elevator technicians in response to service calls. You act as the communication hub between customers, field technicians, and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of elevator issues and excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities:
- - Receive and Process Service Requests: Answer incoming calls, emails, and system alerts regarding elevator malfunctions, maintenance needs, and emergencies.
- - Dispatch Technicians: Assign and dispatch elevator mechanics based on availability, proximity, and skill set to address the service needs efficiently.
- - Prioritize Calls: Assess the urgency and nature of each call to prioritize service requests appropriately (e.g., entrapments, safety issues, routine maintenance).
- - Coordinate Resources: Ensure technicians are equipped with the necessary tools, parts, and documentation before dispatch.
- - Update Systems: Enter and update service call information in dispatch and maintenance management software in real-time.
- - Customer Communication: Provide customers with status updates and ETAs, and ensure follow-up on open service requests.
- - Support Compliance: Ensure all dispatching follows company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- - Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with supervisors, service managers, and technicians to optimize scheduling and resolve field issues.
Skills & Qualifications:
- - Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- - Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- - Familiarity with dispatch or field service management software
- - Basic knowledge of elevator systems and terminology is a plus
- - Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills
- - Experience in a fast-paced customer service or operations environment
Salary Range: 35-40K
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30am- 4:30pm
